We are looking for a talented 2nd Line Support Engineer with previous experience working in IT support. We need strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments. Hands-on experience with patch management is essential. We are looking for someone comfortable working across infrastructure, cloud, and networking environments. Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft Windows is required. Experience with Microsoft 365 is required. Experience with networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls is required. Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is required. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is required. Experience using service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management is required. We require the successful candidate to obtain SC clearance and be willing to continue to obtain SC clearance as needed. We are looking for someone who can work early and late shift patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • We troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents across infrastructure and end-user environments.
  • We monitor systems and help maintain service availability.
  • We carry out patch management and system updates.
  • We support new services as they transition into live operations.
  • We support 1st Line Engineers to help maintain high service standards.

  • We contribute to high-security projects in a fast-paced environment.
