Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Solutions Architect delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Experience creating transitional roadmaps from current state to future state.
  • Cloud-first architecture experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Expertise in APIs, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tooling and modern delivery practices.
  • Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, and BPMN.
  • Awareness of data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and SDLC best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Confidence working in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and own solution designs, roadmaps, and architecture artefacts.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-impact solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on platform capabilities and technical feasibility.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce risk, increase value, and accelerate delivery.
  • Drive modern integration approaches, including API-first, event-driven, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Help shape our current state to future state transformation journey.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Simplify complexity and promote modular, reusable architecture.
  • Translate business strategy into practical technical delivery.

This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with three days in the office and a salary of up to £75,000 per annum.
