Requirements

- Linux/Unix administration and scripting experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting low latency, high throughput messaging systems.
- Experience in infrastructure, production support, or messaging engineering.
- Preferred candidates with automation and programming skills such as Python or Bash.
Responsibilities
- Support and administer enterprise Solace PubSub infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
- Work closely with infrastructure, development, and support teams to ensure messaging reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Help maintain resilient, highly available messaging systems that support real-time trading and financial applications.
- Respond to incidents and support operational troubleshooting in critical environments.
- Monitor platform health and performance using modern observability tools.
- Contribute to capacity planning and optimisation of the messaging environment.
- Support WAN optimisation and performance tuning across distributed infrastructure.
- Automate operational tasks where possible and help improve platform efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining low latency, high throughput messaging services for mission critical systems.

We are growing our Messaging team and are looking to appoint an experienced Solace Messaging Administrator to help support and optimise a critical low latency messaging environment. You will join a highly technical and collaborative team responsible for resilient, high throughput messaging systems that underpin pricing, trading, and other mission critical applications across a complex global infrastructure. This is a London-based role with four days per week onsite in Canary Wharf.
