Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a Controls-based qualification.
- Ability to develop and design code for PLC and HMI systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our equipment using Allen Bradley PLCs Micro800, CompactLogix, and associated HMIs by writing well-structured PLC/HMI code.
- Create function blocks in structured text and ladder logic, promoting our intuitive HMI style across all platforms.
- Work with senior management to develop a clear Control Philosophy and, once agreed, a detailed Functional Design Specification (FDS) that leads to concise software and maintains documentation.
- Integrate systems into the customer’s overall control system using Ethernet and Modbus protocols.
- Troubleshoot issues with software and hardware in the Test department as needed.
- Report, communicate, and collaborate with other departments as part of the team.
- Plan and manage own projects and work packages.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of larger special projects when service needs arise.
- Provide Tier 3 software support to colleagues and customers when necessary.
