Requirements
- Experience in data and business intelligence, ideally within adult social care or a similar public sector environment.
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and the ability to support the implementation of a data quality strategy.
- Experience acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and providing insight to inform transformation and improvement programmes.
- Knowledge of CQC inspections and peer reviews, or the ability to lead BI support for these activities.
- Ability to work hybrid hours, with occasional office-based work and flexibility across normal office hours.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key point of contact for the Executive Director of Adult Social Services, the Service Director of Care and Wellbeing, and their senior managers on all data and business intelligence matters.
- Lead the delivery of data and intelligence to support improvement, transformation, and reform programmes for Adult Services, including the Adult front door transformation programme.
- Serve as the lead officer within Data and Business Intelligence for CQC inspections and peer reviews.
- Identify and communicate data quality concerns, support actions to address them, and monitor progress.
- Drive the implementation of the Data Quality Strategy across the service area.
- Represent the service area on data and business intelligence matters.

We are recruiting for a BI Lead role within Adults and Housing in Shropshire on an 18-month contract. This is a full-time hybrid position with 1-2 days onsite and 3-4 days working from home. The role operates within normal office hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, with a minimum 30-minute lunch break, and occasional additional work may be required.
