Requirements

  • Strong experience administering SharePoint Server and/or SharePoint Online.
  • Experience managing SharePoint within complex project or programme environments.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint architecture and permissions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance and system issues.
  • PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of security and governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Preferred Microsoft SharePoint or Azure certifications.
  • Preferred experience working in hybrid SharePoint environments.
  • Preferred knowledge of SharePoint customisation and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Preferred experience with third-party integrations and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a long‑term SharePoint strategy and roadmap.
  • Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments and architecture.
  • Manage permissions, user access, content databases, and site collections.
  • Support integrations across Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
  • Deliver technical documentation, governance procedures, and user guidance.
  • Provide troubleshooting, system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery support.
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer across programme teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, software, and network teams to ensure seamless operation.
  • Develop programme‑wide SharePoint governance and architecture strategies.
  • Align solutions with standards and industry best practice.
  • Support future Business-as-Usual operational readiness.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and optimise SharePoint systems.
  • Monitor performance, security, capacity, and system availability.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Administer permissions, access controls, and content libraries.
  • Maintain site collections and document management structures.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and information management standards.
  • Work closely with developers and IT support teams.
  • Provide technical support and issue resolution.
  • Deliver training and coaching to end‑users and stakeholders.
