Responsibilities
- Interpret, merge, and analyse large datasets from clients and internal systems to drive service optimisation, sustainability improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Produce detailed, data‑driven round and beat routes using optimisation tools, modelling, and statistical techniques.
- Provide Contract and Regional Managers with clear option appraisals, guidance on service parameters, and recommendations throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Promote and document best practice in route optimisation, supporting a culture of continuous improvement across municipal services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure optimisation initiatives align with wider municipal development strategies.
This role is based in the South West, ideally in Bristol, with the option to work from our Weston‑super‑Mare or Maidenhead office. It is a full‑time role of 37.5 hours per week, with part‑time or job‑share options available on request. We offer a salary of £43,562 to £45,000, plus up to 10% annual bonus, a company car or car allowance, a 3× life assurance policy, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and a 5% employer pension contribution.
