Requirements
- Strong Power BI expertise, including DAX, data modelling, and Power BI Service
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern Azure data platforms
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of data architecture, including Medallion patterns
- Experience delivering scalable, high-performance BI solutions
- Comfortable working with stakeholders and driving best practice
- Experience mentoring or supporting BI developers is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Build advanced Power BI dashboards and enterprise semantic models
- Optimise performance using Direct Lake, composite models, and incremental refresh
- Design scalable models across Lakehouse, Warehouses, and Dataflows Gen2
- Implement governance and security, including RLS/OLS, pipelines, and sensitivity labels
- Work closely with Data Engineers and stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements
- Champion Fabric best practice and mentor BI developers
- Own the full lifecycle from data modelling through to insight delivery
