Requirements
- 4+ years of recent, relevant experience in IT management.
- Proven track record of leading and managing IT teams in a service‑led environment.
- Previous experience managing suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Expertise in change planning.
- Experience with virtualisation of both server and desktop environments using VMware.
- Experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Microsoft 365 Exchange knowledge.
- Prefer candidates who can work onsite full time and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the service desk team to deliver exceptional technical support to internal users.
- Ensure prompt resolution of IT issues and drive continuous improvement in customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of our IT infrastructure.
- Manage the existing IT Infrastructure Team.
- Ensure appropriate cybersecurity systems are in place.
- Oversee the maintenance, support, and optimisation of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Ensure our infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Align IT operations with corporate and cluster policies, procedures, service levels, and defined processes.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of IT systems and services.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
