Requirements
- Min 8 years of experience
- Strong experience in Data Governance and Metadata Management using Collibra
- Working experience on Collibra workflows using BPMN/Groovy
- Working experience on modifying Collibra operating model
- Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification
- Knowledge of metadata and lineage extraction processes is a plus
- Knowledge of tool integrations such as BigID, Immuta, BI tools, and similar platforms is a plus
Responsibilities
- Act as the Collibra technical SME for the data governance and metadata management platform, providing solutions for business use cases, integrations, workflow development, and user/asset onboarding
- Configure and extend Collibra operating models, including domains, asset types, attributes, and relationships, according to use cases
- Engage in and implement data governance strategies, metadata management standards, user guides, KPIs, and metrics
- Modify the Collibra operating model to maintain asset and metadata models for various use cases
- Collaborate with the Data Governance Office, stewards, data owners, and engineering teams on governance use cases
- Implement enterprise wide data governance strategies and roadmaps, governance structures, roles, and responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and design reviews for the team
- Support governance KPIs, adoption metrics, and maturity roadmap activities
- Maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation
- Conduct training and awareness programs on data governance
- Run trainings and playbacks, produce end user guides, and create FAQ and runbooks
- Build metadata extraction and lineage extraction capabilities from sources such as Snowflake, Glue, Postgres, Erwin, and Qlik Sense
- Design, develop, and deploy end to end workflows using BPMN 2.0 and Groovy scripting within Collibra
- Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and reusable workflow solutions
- Build workflows for key governance processes, including dynamic routing, approvals, exception paths, user tasks, service tasks, timers, gateways, boundary events, multi step and multi instance approvals, notification tasks, and workflow variables
- Use Collibra APIs and implement features such as dynamic user and role assignment and validation
- Performance tune workflows to minimize runtime and resource usage
