Data Engineer & Customer Support Associate in Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £34,000 - 69,000 per year

Prior experience in customer success, customer support, or management consulting is a bonus, ideally within a sales, technology, or software company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and customise technical demos, presentations, and product simulations for our sales team.
• Define competitor sets, product categories, and product keyword frameworks.
• Keep pre-sales materials organised, current, and easy to access.
• Act as the go-to person for product-related questions and technical issues during the sales cycle.
• Work closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to stay informed and translate updates into effective sales assets.
• Help improve our pre-sales process, including exploring ways to use AI tools and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with technical teams to automate manual processes and speed up dashboard setup.
• Monitor data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness for affiliate performance.
• Analyse trends and surface insights that support optimisation and improvement.
• Use dashboards to identify and communicate growth opportunities, including conversion share trends, coverage gaps, net-new partners, optimisation opportunities, and link auditing.
• Perform regular quality assurance checks to ensure dashboards are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
• Fix discrepancies and errors quickly when they arise.
• Manage dashboard alerts and ensure timely, accurate delivery based on user needs and preferences.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data monitoring, quality assurance, and alert management.
• Implement best practices to improve data processes.
• Work with internal teams to address feedback and ensure dashboards meet expectations.
• Proactively communicate with users to understand their dashboard needs and improve their experience.
