Requirements
- We are looking for an IT graduate with a 2:1 degree or better.
- Understanding of databases, such as Oracle or SQL.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and some shell scripting experience.
- Knowledge of logistics systems, along with some systems analysis and application support experience.
- Experience with report-writing tools such as iReports or Jaspersoft Studio.
- Excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer-facing technical service desk environment.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional travel to other sites may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for logistics systems.
- Learn our business processes and technical applications and tools.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements for change.
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts.
- Integrate internal and external systems.
- Produce logistics systems reports for stakeholders and document system changes in line with our company standards.
- Work closely with senior team members to resolve issues and elevate tickets when needed.
