Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, or similar support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Proven experience delivering 1st and 2nd Line Support
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, and wireless networking
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests
  • Experience working within a structured IT support environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to company sites when required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach to customer support

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT support to users across the business
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Support and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Manage and support the Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD
  • Set up and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Assist with user account administration, permissions, and access management
  • Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues
  • Escalate complex issues where required and work with third-party suppliers
  • Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records
