Requirements
- Strong experience with Cisco ISE
- Strong experience with Cisco DNA Centre
- Strong experience with Cisco Wireless
- Experience with NGFW technologies such as Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, and FortiGate
- CCNP-level networking knowledge
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, and trunking
- Strong understanding of HSRP, VRRP, and BFD
- Packet capture and troubleshooting expertise
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification is desirable
- Experience with Cisco Umbrella and SD-WAN is desirable
- Exposure to HPE Aruba is desirable
- Automation experience with Ansible and/or Python is desirable
- Knowledge of Azure and AWS is desirable
- MSP experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Own complex faults and changes through to resolution
- Act as an escalation point for 2nd Line engineers
- Support customer and vendor engagements
- Perform root cause analysis and problem management
- Deliver network and security projects
- Manage firmware upgrades, documentation, and DR testing
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to technical development
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
