We are looking for someone with over 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles. A strong understanding of data governance frameworks, such as DAMA-DMBOK, is essential. You should possess strong business and data analyst skills, along with hands-on experience using Collibra or similar tools for cataloging, policy management, and workflow configuration. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must for engaging with our business stakeholders. Additionally, knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, and compliance within financial services is crucial. An analytical mindset with great attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities is also required.
In this role, you will partner directly with our business units to understand operational data needs and ensure alignment with governance policies. You will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data governance standards, policies, and procedures. Promoting data ownership and stewardship across departments to ensure accountability and compliance will be part of your job. You’ll leverage Collibra to manage data domains, workflows, and governance artifacts. Additionally, you will facilitate data quality initiatives, including issue resolution and root cause analysis, maintain metadata repositories, and ensure consistent data definitions across systems. Monitoring regulatory compliance while supporting audit and risk management activities will be essential. Lastly, you will provide training and guidance to business users regarding data governance principles and Collibra usage.
This is a full-time position located in Milton Keynes, with a requirement of 2 days on site per week. The duration of this role is until December 31, 2026.
