We're partnering with a fast-growing Manchester business that is rebuilding its product and technology capability from the ground up and hiring a Product Manager to lead one of its core product squads. You’ll join a cross-functional squad responsible for customer-facing digital products used by millions of members across retail, rewards, and ecommerce‑style experiences. The business is investing heavily in product, engineering, AI tooling, and internal capability building, creating a real opportunity to shape product culture, delivery standards, and customer experience from an early stage.
The role involves owning one of the UK product squads end-to-end, partnering closely with the Tech Lead and UX Designer while working directly with the CTO and wider business. This is a delivery‑first product environment. Discovery matters but shipping matters more. They want someone who can move quickly, make pragmatic decisions, run smart experiments, and measure success by what happens in production.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the squad roadmap, backlog, priorities, and quarterly outcomes
- Shipping meaningful product improvements every sprint, with a strong focus on measurable customer and commercial impact
- Driving experimentation across activation, conversion, engagement, and retention metrics
- Working closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Marketing, CRM, and Commercial teams to ensure releases land effectively
- Partnering with the Tech Lead to make sensible trade‑offs around scope, speed, sequencing, and quality
- Using AI tooling to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, and delivery workflows
- Providing clear communication into leadership around progress, blockers, risks, and priorities
- Contributing to the wider product practice as the company builds out multiple product squads
What they’re looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience in Product Management with a track record of shipping products and improving measurable outcomes
- A highly delivery‑oriented mindset with experience working in fast‑moving product teams
- Strong understanding of growth, funnels, experimentation, and A/B testing principles
- Commercial awareness and an ability to prioritise based on business impact
- Interest or experience using AI tooling within product workflows
- Experience within consumer‑facing or transactional digital products
- Strong communication skills with a low‑ego, collaborative approach
Nice to have:
- Background in retail, loyalty, fintech, marketplaces, or ecommerce environments
- Mobile app product experience
- Experience with analytics, experimentation, and personalisation platforms such as GA4, Firebase, FullStory, AB Tasty, or Bloomreach
- Exposure to OKR frameworks, Azure DevOps, or Jira
What will you get out of it?
- Help shape a modern product culture focused on ownership, pace, experimentation, and outcomes
- Work directly with senior leadership and influence product direction from an early stage
- Direct access to leadership within a business investing heavily in its future product capability
- Alongside a strong overall package, you’ll receive a salary somewhere between £55,000 - £65,000, bonus scheme, private healthcare, pension, hybrid working and discounted products and services.
