Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience and strong familiarity with Windchill PLM.
- Experience leading PLM deployment in a large multinational organization.
- Experience with engineering change management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or Inventor; Creo is preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP, is strongly preferred.
- Data mining capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present.
- English language proficiency is required.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Microsoft Office application experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Candidates must be based in or relocate to Dublin, Ireland, and work in the office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system across the full product lifecycle, from concept through design, development, production, service, and disposal.
- Support all PLM users within the Applied business unit.
- Conduct ongoing training and help facilitate PLM tasks across functional departments.
- Act as a PLM power user and a technical lead for all PLM-related activities within the Applied organization.
- Collaborate with global teams to align processes across multiple sites and business units within the PLM system.
- Support the transition to PLM and act as a change agent for the Applied business unit.
- Assist global teams with preparing data for migration to Windchill PLM by assessing the current PDM landscape and developing a migration strategy.
- Represent the Applied organization in enterprise-wide best business practices.
- Develop a training plan for the initial PLM launch and provide continuous training for new functionalities.
- Work with Integrated Product Teams to determine current and future PLM requirements.
- Monitor industry developments and propose future changes to the PLM platform based on software updates and evolving best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless exchange and management of product data and an excellent user experience.
