Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working as an M&E AV systems designer
- Proven track record of delivering complex AV system designs in AutoCAD or similar
- Knowledge of current AV technology and system integration
- Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams experience
- Effective communication skills

- Strong soft skills and the ability to work well with people
- Ability to work independently to deadlines and manage workload
- Ability to perform well in a sometimes pressurised environment
Responsibilities
- Design and own complex AV systems using AutoCAD
- Ensure system designs are technically accurate, specification compliant, and fit for purpose
- Scrutinise specification documentation, BOMs, and scoping documents
- Design custom metalwork and bespoke engineering solutions
- Attend and initiate meetings with senior technical, engineering, and project delivery teams
- Contribute to and maintain design team processes and standards
- Use an agile approach to prioritise and deliver tasks within agreed timeframes
- Communicate technical challenges to key stakeholders and help resolve them
- Apply high-level engineering design practices, including proof of concept work where needed during design
- Allocate an M&E designer to projects based on availability and hand over information from kick-off meetings
- Update project information based on kick-off meeting outcomes
- Act as the go-to person for M&E queries within the team channel
- Assist with mentoring M&E trainees
