Requirements

  • We are looking for a senior infrastructure engineering professional with strong hands-on technical experience.
  • Expertise in backup and recovery technologies, including testing strategies.
  • Experience with Azure and private cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of disaster recovery and operational resilience.
  • Experience supporting regulated or financial services environments.
  • Strong solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Desirable: experience in managed services environments.
  • Desirable: knowledge of backup tools such as Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik.
  • Desirable: experience with hybrid and Azure IaaS architectures.
  • Desirable: understanding of ITIL and service transition models.
  • Desirable: awareness of compliance standards such as FCA, ISO, and PCI-DSS.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support infrastructure across on-premises, private cloud, and Azure environments.
  • Deliver enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions aligned to RPO and RTO requirements.
  • Lead backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning, testing, and validation.
  • Ensure infrastructure and backup services are performant, stable, and secure.
  • Act as the L4 escalation point for complex infrastructure and recovery issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and recovery failures.
  • Provide technical leadership during high-risk changes and outages.
  • Support customer implementations, migrations, and technical delivery.
  • Contribute to pre-sales solution design and technical assurance.
  • Ensure solutions meet time, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support service transition into live environments with full operational readiness.
  • Maintain lifecycle management, including upgrades, refreshes, and decommissioning.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
