Requirements

  • Previous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line IT support experience, ideally within an MSP environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and core networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys helping people.
  • Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working in a full-time, permanent role based in Liverpool with regular site visits across the North West.
  • An IT-related qualification would be beneficial, though not explicitly required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support via phone and remote access, with 3rd line support delivered through site visits.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage live tickets relating to laptops, printers, Microsoft 365, and VPNs.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security within Microsoft 365.
  • Support customers with general IT queries and problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all client environments.
  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and other hardware.
  • Install routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Carry out network installations.
  • Assist with office moves, server upgrades, and wider infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with experienced network engineers to keep customer systems running smoothly and securely.
