Requirements
- Current, active SC Clearance is mandatory.
- 8–10 years of engineering experience.
- Proven track record as a Senior Platform Engineer.
- Strong, deep expertise with the Kong Konnect API Platform.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, NLB, API Gateway, and ASG.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with Jenkins, including multibranch pipelines and Groovy scripting.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Strong skills in Python, Chef, and Linux command‑line troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of DNS, TLS, routing, VPNs, and edge platforms such as Cloudflare.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Based in or commutable to Leeds, with the ability to work onsite 3 days per week.
- Open to occasional travel to London.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly efficient, reusable, and reliable AWS platform solutions.
- Implement advanced CI/CD frameworks to support secure and rapid deployments.
- Work closely with cross‑functional product teams, including designers, product managers, and analysts.
- Bridge the gap between development and infrastructure.
