Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, data modeling, and microservices.
  • Experience with MLOps, AI lifecycle management, and LLM orchestration on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI and ML solutions and Responsible AI practices.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and lead AI and ML projects.
  • Experience in technical training, mentoring, or coaching; ideally, 1 year of experience in learning and development, coaching, or education.
  • Teaching qualification or industry recognition such as FHEA preferred.
  • Public speaking, industry engagement, and GitHub contributions valued.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong written, on-camera, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply business case principles and communicate the business value of innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical learning content through workshops and drop-in sessions.
  • Support apprentices in building the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours needed throughout their programme.
  • Facilitate technical delivery sessions and ensure each session meets learning objectives within the allotted time.
  • Follow our Coach Quality framework to deliver a consistent experience for every apprentice.
  • Create an inclusive, motivating environment that supports learner engagement, satisfaction, and progress.
  • Moderate assignments in line with mark schemes and provide feedback and feedforward to help apprentices develop technical and durable skills.
  • Take ownership of learner progress and proactively support apprentices and fellow coaches where needed.
  • Liaise regularly with coaches to align on apprentice interventions and ensure successful programme completion.
  • Coordinate with cohort coaches and operations teams to track apprentice development and progress.
  • Stay up to date with resources, learning opportunities, and product updates to effectively support apprentices.
  • Build credibility with apprentices by combining professional experience, programme knowledge, industry expertise, and client context.
  • Communicate our mission and offering in a compelling way and help apprentices connect with our impact during and beyond their apprenticeship.
  • For Advanced Programmes, undertake regular specialised Higher Education CPD to continue developing degree apprenticeship expertise.
