Requirements
- Several years of commercial experience in data engineering and analytics development in a similar high-performance environment
- Strong KDB/q development skills (core focus)
- Solid Linux engineering experience, including awareness of low-level networking and kernel-level understanding
- Knowledge of large-scale storage systems, data distribution, and resilience/failover strategies
- Familiarity configuring and operating AWS services and Kubernetes-based infrastructure
- Experience working with Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 market data feeds
- Background in big data performance tuning, analytical workflows, and data visualization
Responsibilities
- Build and improve analytics capabilities to provide clearer visibility across new and existing business areas
- Develop scalable data pipelines to capture, clean, and store high-volume datasets from internal trading platforms and external market data feeds
- Create and refine efficient data-access frameworks to support live dashboards, execution performance analysis, and market microstructure research
- Design and implement complex event processing (CEP) workflows to detect data issues in real-time and generate actionable signals
- Diagnose problems and continuously strengthen platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from initial research and prototyping through delivery, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
