IT Operations Manager

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of managing IT operations, service delivery and cyber security in a small-to-medium organisation.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures.
• Experience of managing outsourced service desk and technology partners.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical issues and concepts into clear updates for non-technical colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Strong incident management and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of IT services across our organisation.
• Ensure we maintain a reliable, secure and well-governed IT environment.
• Support our colleagues so they can deliver our mission.
• Own operational service delivery, supplier and contract performance, infrastructure coordination and operational cyber security controls.
• Work both independently and as a hands-on leader.
• Manage internal and external resources and partners to support our strategy.
• Oversee and improve IT operations and service delivery.
• Manage cyber security controls within our operational environment.
• Coordinate infrastructure and technology partners to keep services running effectively.
