Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solutions Analyst.
  • Understanding of software delivery in Agile or hybrid environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable advising non-technical SMEs and simplifying complexity.
  • Pragmatic, organised, and confident in challenging assumptions constructively.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 user administration.
  • Familiarity with Azure Entra or Active Directory.
  • Basic SQL Server knowledge, including queries and data management.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • SME or scale-up experience.
  • Knowledge of information security and data protection.
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities and how they translate into business features.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops with internal SMEs and manage expectations across teams.
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Support backlog creation, prioritisation, and UAT.
  • Advise on system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
  • Work with external development teams to ensure delivery aligns with requirements.
  • Produce clear documentation, including process flows, diagrams, and decision logs.
