Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in a technical IT role within a professional environment
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Windows Server technologies
- Solid understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and modern device management
- Experience managing projects and coordinating external suppliers
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical outcomes
- Experience implementing cyber security frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials) (desirable)
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (desirable)
- Exposure to compliance or governance requirements (desirable)
- Relevant Microsoft or security certifications (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services
- Lead the administration and optimisation of Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Defender security tools, and related platforms
- Manage IT operations, including incident resolution, escalations, and service delivery
- Ensure strong cyber security practices, including patching, identity management, and compliance with security standards
- Lead small to medium technical projects from planning to delivery
- Maintain IT policies, documentation, asset registers, and configuration standards
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable environment
- Contribute to IT strategy and continual improvement initiatives
