Requirements
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
- Strong experience with AWS as the primary cloud platform, with exposure to Azure and/or GCP.
- End-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Strong Linux-based scripting and automation skills.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Azure AD and Keycloak.
- Knowledge of secure networking, including certificates and tokens.
- Experience with code scanning tools such as SonarQube.
- Solid experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices, serverless, and edge architectures.
- Strong capability across APIs, including REST and gRPC, and event-driven systems such as Kafka and MQTT.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic.
- Ability to apply SRE principles to improve reliability, uptime, and performance.
- Ability to script and automate using Python or similar languages such as Rust.
- Experience mentoring others and acting as a technical leader.
- Experience with GPU or container workloads is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Drive DevSecOps best practice across the full software development life cycle.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve uptime and performance.
- Support live operational systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Collaborate across engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
- Act as technical leaders and mentors, helping teams adopt modern DevSecOps approaches.
- Work on securely updating deployed systems in sensitive environments.
- Work on scaling and maintaining resilient platforms under operational pressure.
- Apply DevSecOps and SRE principles to mission-critical systems.
