Requirements
- Proficiency in Java 8 and above, with strong knowledge of the Spring Framework
- Experience developing web-based applications using Java technologies, frameworks, and tools
- Experience with ReactJS/Redux and NodeJS is preferred
- Experience with JUnit 4 and 5, Oracle and MongoDB
- Knowledge of Git is essential; experience with GitHub, Agile, Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD is required
- Familiarity with FreeMarker Templates, AWS development, Ruby, Bundler, Gradle, Leiningen, and Ansible is beneficial
- Experience with performance monitoring, metrics tools, and debugging
- Strong leadership capability, including mentoring technical teams
- Experience with architectural design and high-level documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web-based applications using core technologies including Java 8+, React, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs/web services
- Implement and guide design choices using Spring MVC, JEE technologies, and XML-based tools
- Use development IDE tools such as IntelliJ
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business System Analysts, Testers, and client stakeholders
- Lead and mentor technical teams
- Contribute to architectural design and high-level documentation
- Implement best practices and support performance optimisation using tools such as Glowroot and JProfiler
- Contribute to continuous improvement through Agile methodologies including Scrum
