Requirements

  • Hands-on development and engineering experience with geospatial data
  • Experience with electronic navigation charts
  • Experience in the maritime industry
  • Strong development experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Active relevant Security Clearance (SC) is required prior to engagement
  • Experience working in a security-cleared environment is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop and engineer geospatial software for a major MOD project
  • Support innovative navigation work within the MOD
  • Work on geospatial data and electronic navigation chart solutions
  • Contribute to maritime-related development activities
  • Attend our Farnborough location three days per week as part of the hybrid working arrangement

We are a defence consultancy working on a large, innovative MOD programme focused on navigation. This is an outside IR35 contract opportunity offering £500-700 per day. The role is hybrid, with three days per week required in Farnborough, and it supports a new piece of work delivering geospatial and navigation capabilities within the MOD.
