Requirements:
- Understanding of and experience in supporting and implementing technology areas such as VMware management and deployment of virtual machines, Office 365, automated patch management via WSUS and third-party tools.
- End user support including Windows 10/11, VPN and account administration.
- Knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS and firewalls.
- Experience with Windows Server technologies including Active Directory, Group Policies and Remote Desktop Services.
- Familiarity with backup technology such as Veeam.
- Methodical troubleshooting approach and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technologies.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and Veeam certifications are desirable but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote support for a managed service customer.
- Address IT issues across a range of technology domains, including Office 365, networking, Windows desktop support and backups.
- Work on site five days a week, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 2.30pm.
