Requirements
- We are looking for an experienced IT professional with strong technical and collaborative leadership skills.
- You should be able to contribute to strategic planning, project delivery, and the day-to-day support of IT services.
- You should have experience leading teams and providing senior technical and managerial leadership.
- You should be comfortable working across all levels of an organisation and supporting colleagues and end users.
- We will require successful candidates to undergo child protection screening, including references, an enhanced DBS check, and eligibility to work in the UK.
- This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Responsibilities
- We will have you lead day-to-day IT operations across our three schools.
- You will deputise for the Director of IT when required.
- You will provide senior technical and managerial leadership to our IT team.
- You will drive service excellence, technical standards, cyber resilience, and continuous improvement.
- You will support the strategic leadership, operational management, and development of IT services across the School.
- You will help deliver technology services, infrastructure, cyber security, and digital innovation.
- You will contribute to major projects and evaluate emerging technologies, including the safe and effective use of artificial intelligence in education.
- In the absence of the Director of IT, you will assume operational leadership of the department and represent the School at relevant internal meetings.
