Business Analyst in Coventry

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience in business case development, end-to-end process mapping, requirement elicitation, and solution identification. We need someone who can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders. We require experience working across the full lifecycle of IT projects, from concept through to delivery. We are seeking someone competent in developing business cases, including outline business cases and project initiation documentation. We need experience in defining functional and non-functional requirements. We value experience supporting project test strategies and test plans. We are looking for someone who can produce clear project documentation and maintain governance standards. We need someone with the ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders across the business. We are looking for a proactive individual with curiosity about the industry and an interest in digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• We develop business cases with clear objectives, requirements, benefits, and benefit realisation approaches.
• We define project scope, objectives, and prioritised requirements with relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
• We help prepare business case proposals for budget approval.
• We develop functional and non-functional requirements.
• We manage a diverse range of stakeholders and ensure business expectations are met.
• We support the business and project team in developing test strategies and test plans.
• We ensure testing is completed in line with agreed plans and that results are acceptable before live deployment.
• We support ad-hoc IT and business-related projects as required.
• We coordinate with end users and IT staff to identify and resolve problems.
• We write and update user process guides and process maps.
• We provide training and training materials where appropriate.
• We identify digital solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and wider business outcomes.
• We build strong relationships with project teams and business stakeholders.
• We produce and maintain project documentation in line with project governance requirements.
