Requirements
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Datacentre certification.
- At least 6 years of experience working in complex network environments.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networks, IP protocols, and exposure to all layers of the OSI model.
- Strong experience with routing protocols, tunnelling protocols, and complex network environments.
- Experience following best practices and strict security guidelines.
- Experience maintaining network performance using network monitoring systems or vendor tools.
- Demonstrable experience managing and maintaining wide area networks.
- Experience configuring multiple vendor firewalls, enterprise routers, and datacentre switches.
- Experience with network and storage configurations for HPC environments.
- Experience with common operating systems including Windows Server and Linux/RHEL.
- Server hardware and blade enclosure configuration experience.
- Exposure to Storage Area Networks, virtualization products such as VMware ESXi, and VDI solutions with accelerated storage.
- Eligibility to work and live in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government DV-level security clearance.
- Experience with EVPN-VXLAN frameworks is desirable.
- Previous exposure to load balancing is desirable.
