Requirements:

  • We require a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • We require at least 5 years of IT management experience.
  • We require a minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.
  • We require experience working with cloud platforms.
  • We require advanced knowledge of routing and networking principles.
  • We require strong Microsoft server administration skills.
  • We require proven experience in line management.
  • We require proven experience in change management.
  • We require proven experience in project delivery.
  • Experience within the education sector would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • We will lead our cloud, infrastructure, and security strategy across the Trust.
  • We will manage and optimise cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • We will ensure our systems remain secure, stable, and scalable.
  • We will oversee Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Defender.
  • We will lead cyber security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and MDR platforms.
  • We will oversee Microsoft server environments.
  • We will manage 3rd line support operations.
  • We will monitor SLA performance and handle escalations.
  • We will deliver a Trust-wide infrastructure audit and network redesign.
  • We will drive the transition to cloud-first services.
  • We will align our technology with current educational and digital standards.
