Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
  • Eager to learn advanced IT technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, including creating users and assigning security groups and licenses.
  • Familiarity with print servers (beneficial if experienced in deploying printers via GPO or Intune).
  • Experience in building laptops using MDT or Autopilot.
  • Ability to troubleshoot low-level IT issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
  • Basic Hyper‑V VM management experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL‑controlled environments.
  • Understanding of basic CMD and PowerShell commands/scripts.
  • Experience configuring network equipment at a basic level.
  • Knowledge of Windows DFS and security permissions.
  • Understanding of SharePoint permissions and folder structures.
  • Experience in setting up users and profiles in ERP systems, particularly Quantum (Aviation ERP).
  • Ability to follow guides provided by senior technicians.
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Support our team with various IT tasks to enhance productivity.
  • Provide technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laptops, phones, printers, and office hardware/software.
  • Manage user permissions, SharePoint structures, and IT equipment provisioning (1st and 2nd Line IT support).
  • Support data protection protocols, including MFA, VPN, and ISO 27001‑aligned practices.
  • Assist in IT projects.
  • Create and assist in the development of documentation, including knowledge base articles for the IT team and end users.
  • Support senior IT engineers with security, infrastructure, and data analytics tasks.
  • Learn processes related to downloading, analyzing, and extracting data from aircraft PDF document records.
  • Assist in running crystal reports and generating SQL scripts to import data into Quantum (Aviation ERP).
  • Help run SQL commands in Quantum to update and correct data.
