Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve our network and server infrastructure.
- Support servers, networks, firewalls, backup platforms, and core infrastructure services.
- Act as a key escalation point for technical support issues across our business.
- Proactively monitor systems and identify potential issues before they become incidents.
- Support the design and implementation of LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions.
- Deliver infrastructure improvements and IT projects alongside business-as-usual support.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft server environments.
- Maintain network security and support firewall administration.
- Produce clear technical documentation and user guidance.
- Support colleagues across our business with training and technology adoption.
- Participate in an on-call rota for critical incidents, approximately one week in seven.
