Requirements
- Strong hands-on infrastructure support experience in a Microsoft cloud infrastructure environment, including Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Enterprise Device Management, and VMware vSphere
- Experience with Microsoft Server environments
- Strong experience with virtualization, particularly VMware vSphere, Intune, and modern workplace technologies
- Experience supporting Azure cloud-based solutions
- Some IT security experience would be an advantage
- Must be able to commute to our Cardiff office for a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage our IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs
- Administer and support our Microsoft Server environments to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance
- Support our cloud infrastructure, particularly within Azure, ensuring seamless integration and operation
- Manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity and security
- Implement, monitor, and enhance infrastructure security controls, proactively identifying and mitigating risks when directed by our IT security team
- Perform regular system audits and produce reports to support informed strategic decisions
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to our IT colleagues and end users
- Work alongside senior engineers to deliver service to users across the company
- Contribute to infrastructure support, restore activities, security remediation, and technical documentation
