- Proven experience in a hands‑on IT Manager or senior infrastructure role
- Strong experience across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Broad infrastructure knowledge, including networking, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, servers, and cloud platforms
- Experience supporting or delivering cyber security best practices such as patching, backups, and resilience
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
- Experience managing or mentoring technical teams
- Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience working in a multi‑site or complex environment
- Able to work 5 days per week on‑site in Cambridge
- Willing to undergo enhanced background and vetting checks
