Requirements
- Strong background in software engineering and understanding its system-wide impact.
- Experience working with Cameo/Rhapsody.

- Proven experience across the entire software development process, from engaging with requirement authorities to automated target integration and proving, coupled with effective documentation.
- Familiarity with new tools, techniques, and approaches that can enhance our processes for improved efficiency and sustainability.
- Experience in ontologies and Domain Specific Languages.
- Proficient in C or C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of DDS middleware and Real‑Time Operating Systems.

We are a world‑class Defence Organisation based in Bristol looking to recruit a C/C++ Software Engineer subcontractor for an initial 6‑month contract, with a very likely extension. The role requires you to be onsite four days a week (Monday to Thursday), offering a flexible work environment. Our compensation is competitive, with a rate of £65.00 per hour and an overtime rate of time and a quarter for hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week. The interview process consists of one stage via video. Please note that this position falls under IR35 (Inside IR35 with Umbrella). Contracts are often ongoing and long‑term thereafter.
