Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of data quality principles.
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Experience designing and developing reports and dashboards.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating large datasets (preferred).
- Experience using ETL platforms such as Alteryx (preferred).
- Familiarity with modern development practices, including Agile methodologies, source control, and coding standards (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop reports and dashboards that streamline manual processes and automate key business functions.
- Use ETL processes to transform data into clean, reportable formats.
- Leverage data warehouses to provide data-driven insights that support informed business decisions.
- Present regular updates on the development and performance of key organisational metrics and KPIs.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure reports and dashboards align with stakeholder needs and meet departmental quality standards.
- Support the transition of user-created data visualisation solutions into enterprise-standard platforms.
- Adhere to team procedures and best practices, including coding and build standards, to deliver high-readability, maintainable outputs.
- Refine and optimise existing data workflows to improve efficiency, resilience, and readiness for future enhancements.
