We need strong experience with platform strategy, governance, standards, and policy setting. We require a solid understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise architecture alignment. We are looking for experience managing developer tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power Platform. We need experience defining platform lifecycles, including onboarding, upgrades, and retirement. We value experience with provisioning, automation, self‑service enablement, and standardised tooling patterns. We are looking for someone comfortable tracking platform health, usage, compliance, and service resilience. We need proven capability in adoption, change management, documentation, and technical leadership. We are seeking someone who can drive outcomes, influence standards, and support engineering teams at scale. Microsoft ecosystem experience or alignment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- We own the end-to-end developer platform landscape, from strategy through execution and continuous improvement.
- We set governance, standards, and policies for our developer platforms.
- We ensure our platforms remain secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- We make decisions on platform usage, integrations, and tooling.
- We manage our developer tooling portfolio, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power Platform.
- We define and manage platform lifecycles, including onboarding, upgrades, and retirement.
- We shape platform roadmaps to align with business priorities and the Microsoft ecosystem direction.
- We enable self‑service environments, repositories, and pipelines.
- We embed security and compliance guardrails into our platform processes.
- We standardise tooling patterns to improve consistency and scalability.
- We monitor platform health, usage, and compliance, and use insights to guide optimisation and investment.
- We define our support model, resilience approach, and service management practices.
- We lead platform adoption and change management across the organisation.
- We provide guidance, documentation, and technical leadership to engineering teams.
