Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in an IT support or service role across multiple sites.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Access and SharePoint.
  • Exposure to Exchange 365, Mimecast, and Azure is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent customer service.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (manual) and access to own car.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, and applications.
  • Log, resolve, and escalate helpdesk issues to 3rd line support or external suppliers where needed.
  • Support specialist systems such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Asta Powerproject, and Lecia.
  • Maintain and improve IT documentation and help ensure compliance with PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.
  • Assist with site setups, network infrastructure, and mobile phone provisioning.
  • Support core IT systems including Exchange 365, Mimecast, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, and security tools.
  • Travel to sites at least one day per week to deliver and maintain IT services.
  • Support servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, applications, and Azure cloud-related systems.
  • Contribute to site setups, Active Directory management, and day-to-day service continuity.

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Analyst to join our internal IT team as an IT Support Engineer. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting a wide range of systems, users, and specialist software across our construction projects. We offer a 2-month rolling contract starting ASAP, with scope to move into a permanent position. The role is based 5 days onsite in Maidstone, with travel to sites required at least one day per week to help ensure our IT services run smoothly.
