Requirements
- SME-level experience working within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or equivalent security engineering experience with commitment to achieve this certification.
- Strong, hands-on proficiency in Bicep for Infrastructure-as-Code provisioning and management.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Solid experience with SOAP and REST APIs, including design, development, and secure management.
- Experience with GitHub version control, including branching strategies and code review practices.
- Experienced in designing virtualised infrastructure environments - compute, virtualisation, storage, and security.
- Experience with security vulnerability management and remediation.
Responsibilities
- Define technical requirements alongside external consultancy teams and clients.
- Provide Azure Cloud support for clients, acting as a technical escalation point for internal service desks.
- Manage and optimize Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code practices with Bicep.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, repeatable infrastructure deployment.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting in PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Implement integration designs using Azure Integration Services.
- Design, develop, and manage secure SOAP and REST APIs.
- Work collaboratively within IT function to deliver impactful solutions and transformations.
