The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Will have level 3 college qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, electromechanical engineering or technological specialisation course in the areas of industrial maintenance or similar.
  • Ideally will have 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar.
  • Ideally will have 18th edition.
  • Must be computer literate & have good maths skills.
  • Must have the capability to operate confidently after a short but in-depth induction process.
  • Must have good communication skills and be a team player.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern alternating between days & nights, 12-hour shifts.
  • Knowledge or experience of working with control systems and fault-finding solutions.
  • Good technical ability relating to automation and control system.
  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Would benefit from having worked with blown film extrusion lines, flexographic printing presses, slitting machines, automation/robotics.

Working hours:

  • Should be available to work 6 AM to 6 PM and vice-versa, 4 days on and 4 days off once assigned to a shift. Alternating between days and nights.
  • Mon-Fri 8 AM to 6 PM until fully assessed & integrated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • £50 weekly shift attendance bonus (conditions apply).
  • 20 days holiday per year (Plus Bank Holidays).
  • 1 extra day’s holiday for each completed year of service up to 5 maximum days.
  • Health Cashback Plan including dental, optical, health screening, prescription, medical and well-being (T&Cs apply).
  • 8 hours extra pay on your birthday.
