Our client is seeking a 1st line support analyst for their technical team, supporting environments built on the latest industry offerings. You will be joining a small, close-knit team of engineers who are continually striving to out-perform their previous achievements. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from others in your team.
As part of the support team, you will be required to help diagnose and resolve issues on customer environments while ensuring that customers receive a high level of service. This role is based at our client's Watford office, with a very small amount of time at client sites, so you must have a driving licence and transport. This percentage will vary depending on your experience and personal preference.
You will be passionate and obsessive about IT with customer service skills. This opportunity will expose you to many different technologies and take your career to the next level. Full help and training will be given where there are gaps in your skill set.
Role:- Support/implementation of Windows Servers and Office 365
- Support/implementation of MS Exchange / Active Directory environments
- Installation of cloud solutions, PCs and associated infrastructure
- Responding to 1st line tickets (ticket / email / phone / on-site)
- Problem Solving / troubleshooting customer / hardware problems
- Working and learning as part of our team of engineers
- Dealing with and meeting with all types of people and clients from various local businesses
- Working with businesses with 1 to 100 staff where you are the expert offering advice and getting exposure to a wide range of technology
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to learn on their own and self-study
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, NAT, Firewalls)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
