Tactical Expectations of the Role

  • Create media strategies and tactical plans that meet client objectives.
  • Spend the client's money like it was your own, ensuring every pound is spent to the best of your ability.
  • Provide clear, actionable and concise reporting with strong optimisation recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow media spend through maximising existing efforts or introducing new ideas within an existing campaign.
  • Engage with Media Buyers as partners to determine optimisations and incremental spend recommendations.
  • Anticipate client questions and needs when writing thought-provoking, digestible key insights for media reports.
  • Actively seek out new vendors and identify opportunities that make sense for the agency and specific clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while pushing for unique offerings, new placements and capabilities, and competitive rates.
  • Take pride in budgeting, pacing and billing management by being accurate and timely in media plan management within Prisma.
  • Collaborate with client leads to create joined up media plans and reporting with actionable real-time insights and optimisations.
  • Present plans/recommendations to select clients and work alongside account oversight to find opportunities for client growth.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all self-managed platforms, including Campaign Manager, Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and TikTok.
  • Have a strong understanding of Google Analytics and the ability to pull reports.

Our primary media planning tool is Prisma; experience in the platform is beneficial but not required.
