Overview

Sitter Connect has a family looking for a part-time nanny in Essex, CT.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2-5 pm and Tuesday 6:45 am - 6:45 pm (full day could also be Wednesday instead of Tuesday)

Responsibilities

Daily caregiving for 2 toddler and above aged children, including but not limited to: meal preparation, dressing children, school pickup and drop off, activity planning, engaging in learning skills, assisting to achieve learning milestones, creative play, outside activities and providing a safe environment at all times. Light household duties for the children only (i.e. cleaning up after meal time, wiping down surfaces as needed, etc) and must be comfortable with pets (household dogs).

Pay

Pay Rate: $25+/hour based on experience of candidate

  • Communicative and responsive; always responding when parent is checking in on children
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must have their own and reliable transportation, family would provide gas/mileage reimbursment
  • Willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and creating a safe environment
  • CPR Certified or the ability to obtain CPR certification prior to start date
  • Comfortable swimmer a plus
