We’re delighted to be working with this highly respected professional services business with their head office in the centre of Cardiff. They are looking to appoint a talented and ambitious Head of Marketing; this role is a pivotal leadership one offering the opportunity to help shape and deliver the growth strategy. As the new Head of Marketing, you will lead a small, capable team and work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership to strengthen the brand, drive client engagement, and support sustainable, organic growth across the core of the service areas. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on - equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up their sleeves to deliver impactful campaigns. You’ll bring insight, creativity, and a commercial mindset, helping the business stand out in a competitive market. The job
- Developing and leading a cohesive marketing and business development strategy aligned to the business’s growth ambitions.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to the Managing Director and leadership team on market positioning and client development.
- Managing and inspiring a small marketing and BD team.
- Overseeing campaigns, communications, PR, and events activity.
- Driving initiatives to support client retention, cross-selling, and new business.
- Managing budgets and ensuring activity delivers measurable results.

- Proven experience in a senior marketing role within professional services.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver practically.
- Commercially astute, creative, and collaborative.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Salary & benefits
- Salary is up to £55,000 pa depending on experience - a higher salary may be considered for an outstanding candidate.
- Hybrid working.
- Working week is 37.5 hours.
- Annual leave is 30 days plus 3 additional days, plus bank holidays.
- Death in service and private healthcare.
