This is a varied role offering involvement across HR systems and data, recruitment, employee administration, pensions and benefits, alongside wider support for the HR team.

  • Support recruitment activity by liaising with hiring managers and managing the online recruitment portal.
  • Prepare HR reports, maintain diversity and inclusion records, handle reference requests and conduct exit interviews.
  • Support new employee inductions, attend meetings to take minutes and provide general administrative support to the wider HR team.
  • Contribute to the development of HR systems, processes and procedures, helping to maintain consistency and improve efficiency across the function.

The Person Specification

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Previous experience in an HR administration role, with a solid understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • CIPD level 3 would be advantageous
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, with a genuine commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload, meet deadlines and work effectively on their own initiative.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and core HR administration.
  • Strong written, verbal and numerical skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with colleagues at all levels.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel, and confidence using HR systems.
  • A proactive and practical approach, with the ability to identify issues, take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.
  • A collaborative working style, combined with the discretion required to handle confidential employee information.

Above all, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of the HR administration function and takes pride in providing a dependable, high-quality service. You will be someone the wider team can rely on, with the organisation, initiative and attention to detail needed to make a real difference.
