Why Join One of the UK's Fastest Growing Construction Software Companies?

Site Track PRO is a fast-growing construction software company helping contractors across the UK streamline their businesses.

We're not a huge corporate business where you're just another salesperson.

Having spent the last seven years developing and refining our platform, we've established ourselves as a respected name within the industry and are continuing to grow rapidly.

We're now looking for an ambitious Business Development & Account Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, ambitious business where you'll play an important role in the company's future.

No two days are the same, and you'll be involved in much more than simply making sales.

You'll take ownership of the entire customer journey—from the first conversation through to onboarding, training and long-term account management—becoming a trusted advisor to your customers.

As Site Track PRO continues to grow, so will your opportunities.

The Role

As our Business Development & Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, demonstrating Site Track PRO, converting prospects into customers and ensuring every customer gets maximum value from the software.

Unlike many sales roles, your relationship with customers doesn't end once they've signed up.

You'll remain their main point of contact, helping them get the most from Site Track PRO while building long-term relationships.

You'll also play an active role in our marketing activity, contributing ideas for campaigns, creating content and helping increase our brand presence within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, emails and networking.
  • Follow up warm enquiries generated through our website and existing customer referrals.
  • Qualify potential customers to understand their business and determine whether Site Track PRO is the right fit.
  • Arrange and deliver engaging software demonstrations via Microsoft Teams and in person.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Guide prospective customers through their free trial.
  • Follow up throughout the trial period to answer questions and maximise engagement.
  • Close new business and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Customer Onboarding & Account Management
  • Manage the onboarding process for all new customers.
  • Deliver training sessions to office staff and users.
  • Become the primary point of contact for your customer accounts.
  • Build long-term relationships and provide ongoing support.
  • Proactively check in with customers to ensure they're getting maximum benefit from Site Track PRO.
  • Identify opportunities for additional licences or future business where appropriate.
  • Initially manage some existing customer accounts to develop your product knowledge and gain an understanding of common customer requirements.
  • Marketing
  • Help create engaging content for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute ideas for promotional activity and customer engagement.
  • Schedule and publish marketing content.
  • Support the business at exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and networking events.
  • Help increase awareness of the Site Track PRO brand across the UK.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is naturally confident speaking to people and is motivated by helping customers find solutions that genuinely improve their business.

You should be

  • A confident communicator both face-to-face and over video calls.
  • Friendly, professional and approachable. Able to build long‑term customer relationships.
  • Self‑motivated and organised + a strong problem solver
  • Comfortable managing your own workload.
  • Keen to learn new software and technology.
  • Willing to travel across the UK when required.
  • Software or Saa S sales experience.
  • Marketing or social media experience.
  • Construction industry knowledge (beneficial but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • The Type of Person Who'll Thrive Here

This role is ideal for someone who

  • Enjoys talking to people and building genuine relationships.
  • Wants more than a traditional sales role.
  • Likes taking ownership of their work from first contact through to long‑term customer success.
  • Is motivated by seeing the direct impact of their work on customers and the business.
  • Wants to join a growing company where they'll have the opportunity to influence how things are done.
  • Is ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

As Site Track PRO continues to grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility, influence the direction of the sales and customer success function, and progress into senior commercial or management roles.

  • What You'll Receive
  • £35,000 basic salary + Uncapped monthly commission.
  • Monday‑Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. 28 days holiday.
  • Office‑based training before moving to a hybrid working pattern (3 days office / 2 days remote).
  • Fully expensed company car provided upon successful completion of probation and once you're confidently managing your own customer portfolio independently.
  • Business mileage and fuel expenses covered for customer meetings and work‑related travel (personal use fuel not included).
  • Excellent opportunities for career progression within a fast‑growing software company.

How to prepare for a job interview at SiteTrackPRO

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
